I’m Lilly and I make pottery in Baton Rouge–from functional, everyday coffee mugs to fanciful figures–goddesses, nativity figures, Scots Gaelic designs, Christmas ornaments, and more. I usually have a few things that I can sell, which you can see at LillyPotter’s Shop. I especially like to work on new things so you can guess that I’m not a production potter. My motto is from one of my heroes, George Ohr, the Mad Potter of Biloxi: “No two alike.” Contact me if you have questions or just need a goddess from Baton Rouge. I hope you’ll enjoy browsing through my gallery.
Here’s an article about me written by one of my very talented former students, Jordan LaHaye Fontenot: https://countryroadsmagazine.com/…/perspectives-lilly…/.
And a profile of me on Louisiana Public Broadcasting’s weekly program, LPB’s Art Rocks on Friday, March 19 at 8:30 pm, repeating Sunday, March 21 at 5:30 pm. If you miss it or if you don’t live in lovely Louisiana, you can find a link to stream it on the LPB website after it airs.
